* Have kidney problems
* Have diabetes or take medication that lowers blood sugar
* Have diabetic retinopathy
* Are taking another GLP-1 medication or another product containing Tirzepatide
* Are scheduled for surgery or a procedure requiring anesthesia
Birth Control
Tirzepatide may temporarily reduce the effectiveness of oral birth-control pills, particularly when beginning treatment and after a dose increase.
If you use oral birth control, this should be discussed during your consultation.
